While en world may be market leaders in talent acquisition for their clients, recruitment is a highly competitive game, particularly in the APAC region.
In 2018, The Dream Collective were tasked with supporting en world’s plans to become the most respected recruiting partner in the global talent market and a renowned ‘Best Place To Work’.
The Dream Collective is the leading female leadership training platform in Japan, with insights spanning internationally and across industries.
To truly understand and identify the key barriers to gender equality at en world, we first needed to understand the practises at play across the most common obstacles to diversity, being hiring, training, promoting and scheduling.
To do this, we first conducted an anonymous focus group with four different employee segments to determine employee perspectives on:
- Diversity and
- The Five Systemic
The findings – paired with the understanding that recruitment firms often have a sales-centric culture, which makes it difficult for anything that doesn’t contribute to their KPI’s to be prioritised – formed the basis of our recommendation. Our recommendation was a one-year, three-phased end-to-end strategic roadmap that would provide:
- Senior leaders commitment session
- Leadership capability training, including unconscious bias & inclusive leadership
- Ambassador group activation– to ensure that company-wide changes and decisions considered and include the needs of people across the whole organisation
- The company: en world
- Service: Consulting & Bespoke Training
